Jan, does your senior have an HP Printer?  I found my correspondence with 
them and the procedure they had me go through did fix it.  If your problem 
is HP related I can send you a copy of that correspondence---- or you can 
contact HP website and give them the error message and the problem.  They 
were very good to respond promptly by e-mail.
