-=PCTechTalk=- Re: Searching for another Office 3000

Hi Gman

I wasn't sure what the sitution was in Jan's case which is why I offered what I
did. Since the question was where another CD could be bought I thought perhaps
the original had not been bought but might have
been a gtrial version. Of course it could have been installed on the machine
when bought. The trial I had was limited to the number of times it could be
used on the same machine I think.
I also had one that was limited to a certain number of days it could be used.
180 days sticks in my mind. I also don't know the program Office 3000 unless
that is a typo.

I understand and fully support limitations on the number of machines per
license. Perhaps I misunderstood (and should have asked questions before
assuming), but the impression I got from Jan was that this was installed so
many times on the same system and was now complaining about a limit.

Did the trial of 2003 limit the number of installs on the same machine or
was it on how many systems it could be on?

Peace,
GMan
