Nope just a usb scanner and there is nothing in my manual, etc.
which tells me what the conflict might be.  Heck I don't even
know what a twain device would be.  Only thing hooked into USB
hub is the scanner so how can I be getting the message "Twain
already in Use."

I've shut down my computer 5 times, unhooked the scanner --
plugged it into another port on Hub -- Windows did it's thing
and the when I try to scan something the same message.

No software or direct scan button will work and now I think I'm
ready to throw it on the floor.
