Hi Rose, When I run defrag there is an option to check for errors, Is that the same as Scan Disk? Therefore, Run Scan Disk to be sure the disk is in good physical shape and then Run Defrag to organize the data on the disk and optimize its performance... Don't worry about your terrible memory.. I typically forget to delete the stuff at the bottom of the emails when I reply.
