oh sorry Gman............while making some breakfast yesterday hubby
informed me that we were going to Sam's Club. We definitely needed to go
and badly so.............so the day was spent getting that shopping done and
getting it all put away except for some ground beef we have to divide up for
meals.

when i have the scans running, i turn off my cable modem and the only
windows open are the scanning ones, but i don't turn off mcafee and goodness
knows what else is running in the background on this pc. this mcafee is so
different. you can't just right click and disable, you have to open the
whole security center window and i haven't quite figured out how to turn it
off yet?? that's another thing i've been trying to figure out.

Ok, here's what I did since the last emails, lol.
Since I could not stop the scan by hitting the X, I simply rebooted.
We were going to leave the house for a while so I got my pc in safe mode
(figured that out first time woo hoo) and started a scan in safe mode around
12:30p.m, let it run all day and actually I got up at 1:30am for a potty
run and came in here and checked and again........no
progress..............so I tried to close out and when I hit the X to try to
close it, my pc beeped, so I rebooted.........once back up just opened OE so
i could download mail and that's all I've done.

If you think you'd like to connect to me while a scan is running, let me
know, but truthfully i need a few days to take care of things i've
neglected...............a ton of other email being one of them. It does
sound like it might be a good chance for someone that knows how to look
around, to see what's stopping it from completing a scan.

I thought I was gonna get a day yesterday to get some stuff caught up with,
but hubby had other plans for us, lol. He came thru this chemo pretty good
so I'm sure he wanted to get things done when he KNEW he'd be able to do
them. He felt bad Friday night, (had the chemo on Fri) which he usually
does, but he seemed to feel fine all weekend, but I'm sure he's a little
tired and just not showing it.

Later this week, like maybe Thursday we could get together if you won't be
in the middle of working yourself.

Sandy
