-=PCTechTalk=- Re: Safe Mode?? Restore

Hi Lionel
Once you have all your programs installed you could use your CDR to burn an
image of your system to use to restore the system with next time.

http://www.karenware.com/powertools/ptreplicator.asp
Automatically backup files, directories, even entire drives! Karen's
Replicator copies selected files from one drive/folder to another. Source
and Destination folders can reside anywhere on your network. Files larger
than 2 GB are supported.

Lionel....what do you mean by 'crash it'? System Restore should put you
back to before you tried the WIN Com thing.

Hi Mike , when I click on the General tab, nothing happens , all the
others tabs work ok. Looks like I will have to crash it . Stuff using
the WIN.COM/ D:M for a short cut for safe mode. I will return to the
system I had , pressing the Control Key on start up . A word of warning
to
everyone that has M E , don't use this WIN COM/ D:M unless you
want
trouble . Lionel.
