G, where is the IE extension located for firefox for download? Also I have
not yet been able to drag my OE where I can access it easily if using
Firefox? OE is a part of IE right? I am still using IE 6 and have not
installed SP3 yet that I know of.

I am thinking about also purchasing the new Microsoft Office through work at
a discounted price but am not sure how it will work with Vista. I do not
have Vista yet but when I buy a new computer soon probably will have to have
it?

thanks,

Christine

Tis true. Note that IE7 is much more secure than IE6, even in IE6's SP3
patched state. For those who have resisted upgrading to IE7 only because
the initial release was full of bugs, those issues have been ironed out and
it's now relatively safe to go ahead with the update to IE7. If you also
have yet to update to SP3, hold off on the IE7 update until after your have
SP3 installed. That way, you'll still have the ability to revert back to
IE6 if you prefer.

Having said all that, I refuse to use IE as my main (default) browser for
the same reasons Ryan has stated. I also have the IETab extension installed
within Firefox so I can use the IE browser engine when necessary. I find it
rarely necessary, though.

Peace,
G
