I've compared my settings as best I can on my 2 computer's -
one has sp2 and one doesn't, so the settings are set up a
tad different. I don't think it is the web site, since I can
see the graphics on my old computer, and some people on here
with sp2 can see them.
At this point, with settings, I'm not sure what to try.
Everything that looks like it should be checked, is checked.
I'm wondering if it is still the firewall - somehow.
I haven't had the opportunity yet today to go over that web
page that was sent in by Blue Belle- I noticed the 1st
couple of things there, were things that I had already
checked - like that the setting is checked to allow
graphics. It is odd though, that it is only certain web
pages that it seems to be happening on.

I think my problem with that one page where the sp2 bar
wasn't visible, is a totally different problem, but I could
be wrong. I'm wondering about my javascript - and activeX. I
kept getting the notice that I needed to download my
activeX. I downloaded it about 5 times before it seemed to
'take' - then, I had to get rid of that quik whatever
program, and put IE into my allowed programs in OUTPOST.

I'm going to try to disable OUTPOST again and see if it
shows up then - try to narrow this down more!
thanks!! I do run things to disable pop ups, and who knows
what!! So I'll disable them one by one to see if it makes a
difference!

Chris,

Check all of your security settings in your computer...
particularly your
Operating system, your firewall/antivirus/adware/malware
software and
Internet Explorer (and Outlook Express since they share many
settings) or
whatever browser/email client you use.

Anything that disables or limits anything such as JAVA,
HTML, DirectX,
Flash, pop-up ads, banner ads, displaying pictures etc etc
could have an
impact on what you are able to see/display/download on any
given website.
