Hi HB,
XPSP2 should have created an uninstall file when it was installed.
Look in the root (the C drive icon in My Computer) of C drive.
Right click on the C drive and choose Explore.
I have some info here;

Why not try to fix the problem?

Hello all,
My girlfriend's laptop used to reboot on it's on, occasionally. I
had
fixed the rebooting problem by installing the patch for the modem.
She since added SP2, now the occasional rebooting problem is back.
Is there a way to uninstall the SP2?
Thanks,
HB
