It seems to freeze IE pages and OE stuff at times..like almost all the
time..gets so you can't move without having to restart the ISP
program.....OR slowed the response time WAYYYYY down..either or.  I don't do
much offline so it's hard to tell if any of that is affected...

What kinds of problems have you encountered when installing SP2?  I just
installed it this morning and it seems to have really slowed down shutting
off and starting up.  I'm running XP.  Have you noticed this happening?

What are the spec's of your system? I have installed SP2 many times on
customers PC's and have never had too much trouble correcting the resulting
problems.

I don't insist...I want what is supposed to be in my system..if SP1 is not
in the cards then whatever is going to work it what I will take..barring
SP2..3 trys and too many errors...NO mo.

If you insist on SP1 not SP1a you'll need to find someone who downloaded the
original and still has it on a cd or hdd somewhere.
