-=PCTechTalk=- Re: Rebate info included.....

Thanks so very much... You are TOO kind..

And I am glad the many steps were clear enough for you to follow.
I would add the Spreadsheet and scanning suggested by MJH as those make for
smaller files.
I also keep a copy of the store ad with the rebate stuff. This helps (the
old brain) remember when and where I bought the item and if I have a
problem, at least I have a live body (the store manager) to harass! lol!

Just before reading this e mail from you, I read one from SimpleTech that
said my rebate had been approved and I would receive my check in 8 weeks. I
keep those emails in my Rebate folder in OE and print a copy and put it with
my copies of my rebate submission. Just a bit of 'proof' in case it gets
lost somewhere. This email also told me I could check the status of my
rebate at www.wheresmyrebate.com.

Enjoy...

Hugs,
Rose

Hi Rose,
that is very generous of you.

Credit for you, to me is very important to often on the web we see others
hard work quoted.

I feel that we should always credit the author of documents like yours,
especially if we are posting it to a group or newsletter.

I used your method for applying for my Avery lable rebate tonight to get my
photo paer free.

If I ever finish this... polish it..and or .... do an E-Book..I will send it
to you to share....
Credit is not as important as helping people.

Thanks,

Hi Rose,
thank you for the excelent detailed procedure for applying for a rebate.

Your easy to understand "Dummies" approach is just what the novice and
experiences users need to remember.

This is one email I suggest we all save and quote, giving Rose full credit,
when the question comes up on list and to our friends.

I changed the Subject to make it easy to find in the Freelists archives.
