Q. I have found quite a few things in my registry that I am 100% certain are
bad things. Can I delete them from the registry? Is it that simple? Just delete
and they're gone for good?
A. Well, yes and no. Yes you can delete them, and yes its that simple. However,
just because you've gotten rid of one instance doesn't mean you won't find
multiple other locations disguising the bad guy under a different name. Not to
mention, whatever it is you have might recreate the entries when you restart
the computer.

Q. Also, stupid question I know and I'm not sure how to word it - will deleting
them from the registry remove all the folders and files and icons that go with
them that are spread thruout my computer?

A. No. Those you must find yourself and remove separately.

On a side note, you might be able to get rid of whatever badies you have if you
run an up-to-date scan of Ad-Aware and SpyBot, both available for free.
