-=PCTechTalk=- Re: QUESTION ON TROJAN HORSE

Hi Patty

To explain (I hope).
Some how you were sent the virus and Norton's caught it and put it in
quarantine BEFORE it was activated. Your registry was not affected because
it was not activated. If you still have doubts, implement the test that was
described in earlier emails about sending your self an email or go to the
links that were also in the emails.

When it was quarantined, it should have informed you what email the virus
was in. You should be able to safely delete the infected email and the
quarantine.

Hope that is of some help to you.
Life is what happens in between plans.

Horse and I think I may have gotten it but I have it quarantined in my
Norton Antivirus program. I did not want to delete this file until I asked
someone what and how to do it since I think it involves the System Reg.
This is the information that is in the reports.

Norton program ususally takes care of all of the virus that come in and
this is the first one that I have had. I have no idea how to take care of
it. Can someone please offer their help.
