Sammi,
Any joy you experience is magnified many times over by the time it
reaches us. It's extremely disappointing when repair attempts don't go as
well as we hope, but it's pure joy when they do. At this point, I don't
even care which tip helped you get your system back (although I now highly
suspect the Temp folder caused most of it). I only care that things seem to
be working like they should. If that chooses to continue, I'm happy that
you have learned as much as you have and that your system will now get the
housecleaning that you're promising here. ;0}
By the way, there's no such thing as a computer jinx. Computers don't
need us to say or do anything to make them act up. lol
