-=PCTechTalk=- Re: PrtScn results-Don

Hi Don,

Thank you for your reply! At the present time, I don't have any other memory
sticks to test with; your response makes perfectly good sense to me. I'll
take a look at my old pc, but I would think that the chances of the memory
sticks being the same type are pretty slim.

We do not have a 'computer' store in our little town. I cannot think of
anyone who would be delighted to remove theirs for me to experiment with for
now.

I will add that the memory I have, came with the computer when I got it new
a couple of years ago. And these problems only surfaced in the last 2 or 3
months. Intermittant at first, (if memory serves me correctly) but has
become constant recently.

I have not installed any new hardware.

Software? Oh good Lord, yes. Can I remember what and when? Oh Lord, no. Some
is uninstalled almost immediately. And some is merely forgotten about and
never used. I am sure there are lots of orphan files here and there on the
hd. When I uninstall, I always use either the uninstaller that came with the
program or if one isn't available with Windows Add/Remove ap. Not perfect I
realize.

Thanks,
Sammi
