this is very sad indeed, and thank you for sharing it with the group.
since it is now over 1 1/2 months since you heard from her, it is most likely
the case. Cancer's can be so devastating.

Welp..........
GMan had some personal things come up in his life and he has not been
on for a long time.  Even his mailbox is closed so I'm afraid he's
MIA.  Don't know if he'll ever be back at this point.  We miss him
terribly, but life has to come first.

Nightsneak is a very sad case.  I received the following E-Mail from
her on Saturday, Oct. 11th:

   | Just wanted to let you know that I won't be around much longer.

   | I found out that I had cancer in my neck, which has now spread
   | to my thyroid, my lymph nodes, and both my lungs. Not sure how
   | much longer I have to live, but I don't think it will be long,
   | as it is moving faster and faster. I am trying to take care of
   | all my affairs, and I am not unsubbing from all my lists yet
   | since it gives me something to do that doesn't require too much
   | breathing : )
   |
   | If you happen to see me bouncing for more than a week, feel free
   | to unsub me, as that should mean that my ashes are happily
   | floating on the Chesapeake Bay to parts unknown, unexplored, and
   | adventurous.

I've tried to contact her several times and have not received an
answer.  Given the above, I suspect the worst has occurred -- she will
be missed a great deal.

Such is life, and lists, people come and go.  That's why each one of
you is so important to the success of the list.  We learn from each
other and rely on the aggregate of the list to get the answers to
lifes little computer problems.
