-=PCTechTalk=- Re: Problems With the list?

Andy,
You asked for help signing your second address up and I did that. Are
you still having problems? If so, please tell me exactly what the
problem is and I'll be glad to try to help -- that's what were paid so
well to do <chuckle>

  |
  |
  | | OK. I just tried this and it worked for me.
  | | I clicked on the 3rd link down "for more info". Took me to
  | | a different sign up page the the unsub or change email
  | | page. Typed in a new address and clicked on subscribe ( or
  | | whatever the go button is)( just did it and I cannot
  | | remember). Got 2 e-mails in a short time. (less than 1
  | | minute)
  | | first one was had ecartis command request in the subject
  | | line. That e-mail said a new e-mail was coming that I had
  | | to respond to to confirm. second e-mail had subscribe in
  | | the subject line. This one I had to respond to with the
  | | entire confirm e-mail.
  | | did this and less than a minute later had a confirmed e-
  | | mail. Maybe the 3rd link is the trick.
  |
  |
  | No, I did EXACTLY the same thing..got to the second e mail-the
  | one with the request to respond-sent that off, and got the error
  | message by return every time..and YES I followed their explicit
  | instruction EVERY TIME.
  |
  | Basically, Free Lists are VERY flaky..I've got to have two subs
  | as it is, because one address I'm subbed with and will receive
  | all group mail though simply bounces back any mail I send, but
  | ONLY from my office PC, at home, I can send using that same
  | address!!
  |
  | I thought it might be the mail server, it isn't, I've tried it
  | with different ones..the only one I can reply through at work is
  | Hotmail. I'm on another couple of Free Lists groups,. and I can
  | send and receive mail through my main address on them.
