-=PCTechTalk=- Re: Printing files in folders

Resize the Explorer window with the directory you want then use
<Alt><PrintScreen> adnthen paste that into wordpad, resize to your
liking and print. Not the best way but using ALT Printscreen gets just
the currently active window.

Now for the other way:
open a command prompt
change to the drive and directory you want to print and type:
dir > lpt1:

dir is the directory command
 > is the redirect comand
lpt1: is the printer port assuming your printer is on parallel port 1.

this is the old command line method of re-directing output that would
normally go to the screen to another device.

Note that you can output the directory to a file by using:
dir > c:\temp\mydirectory.txt

you can also apply the command line switches to the command.
