Don, maybe I found it. I went to tools >options >security. The box was
checked where it says "Block images and other external content in HTML
email." I unchecked that box, so will wait and see what happens next
time she sends a bunch of pictures. ~Glo

FWIW In the preview pane, Outlook Express will display attached pictures
