I don't know what the problem could be. I gave those same instructions to
another friend and it didn't work at all for 2 weeks. He kept trying every
time he booted up; all of a sudden, today he tells me it finally worked, he
has no password request. Mine has disappeared permanently, it seems (I
hope). All I can tell you is keep trying--maybe if you reboot twice after
you make the "windows logon" selection? oh wait--I seem to remember
something else about that: fix it and then do a COLD BOOT. Try that, I
think that's the trick.--Glo
