Great...glad you fixed it.... I hate when 'something?' is not running right
and nothing I do seems to make it better..and then suddenly I figure it
out.... or someone tells me the answer and I wonder why I did not think of
it...lol!
Enjoy! Make great stuff! Have fun!

Plugins in PSP must be in a folder that PSP can find.
The standard/default for plugins is the Plugins folder under PSP.
For Example:
If you filed/installed PSP in C:\Program Files\Paint Shop Pro 7
The Plugins Folder would be defaulted to: C:\Program Files\Paint Shop Pro
7\Plugins
Where did you install the Eye Candy 4000 Plugin?
You can go into the Preferences section in PSP and tell it where you have
installed Eye Candy 4000.
To do this, go to the File Menu - Go To Preferences - File Locations.
PSP can have more than one location listed. So, they can have their
default..and you can have yours.
I have PSP 7, 8 and 9 installed. I also have Photoshop Elements 2
Installed.
In order to have my plugins available for these programs, I choose to
store/install them in a generic File.
Here is how I have mine set up.
I have a Partition named "Programs"
I file all my plugins in:
F:\Programs\Graphics\Plugins
I then create a sub folder for each plugin.
So, for your Eye Candy 4000 Filter\Plugin, I would have it installed in:
F:\Programs\Graphics\Plugins\Eye Candy 4000
Now, I have created other folders, such as Eye Candy4000 a Sub Folders for
Textures
For instance, I have all the Dreamsuite Programs/Plugins..so I have:
F:\Programs\Graphics\Plugins\Dreamsuite
F:\Programs\Graphics\Plugins\Dreamsuite\Photo Graphic Edges
F:\Programs\Graphics\Plugins\Dreamsuite\Auto Eye
F:\Programs\Graphics\Plugins\Dreamsuite\Mystical Lighting
F:\Programs\Graphics\Plugins\Dreamsuite\DreamSuite Series 1
F:\Programs\Graphics\Plugins\Dreamsuite\DreamSuite Series 2
F:\Programs\Graphics\Plugins\Dreamsuite\Dreamsuite Gel Series
F:\Programs\Graphics\Plugins\Dreamsuite\Mystical Tint Tone Color
In this manner, I can easily locate a plugin folder if I have a problem and
in the case of the DreamSuite Filters, they can be used as stand alone
programs.
I just set up PSP to look for plugins in:
F:\Programs\Graphics\Plugins
And I check the box that says to look in sub folders. Then PSP finds all my
Filters.
This is just my method..and works for me. The setup takes time..once...
after that..the structure is there...and I just add to it when I break the
bank and buy another plugin or find a freebie! There are lots of freebies
too!
Also, If I have to uninstall and reinstall the program, I do not have to
worry about recreating the folders. They still exist, I just have to
reinstall them.... INTO THE SAME FOLDERS ...so it is not so bad..
Hope this helps.....
If you have any questions or need more help... just holler
