You can use Mailwasher and it will prefetch headers and you can delete them
from the server BEFORE you download them.  You can also set up regular
expressions filters in Mailwasher that will do it automatically.  Free for
one email account, about 29 dollars for more than one.  It will also bounce
spam.  Excellent reliable program without spyware.
