The whole email comes through, just goes to the "deleted"
folder. When you block a sender, the same thing. Blocked
senders don't know they've been blocked, nothing is sent to
them. I do have, what I think is, a nifty little program
that sends fake bounce messages. I use this when
unsubscribe links are not given and IP addresses are from,
say, Asia-Pacific Network or anyplace that doesn't have an
abuse address. The (free)program is called "Bounce Spam
Mail v 1.8" by Albert Yale, don't remember where I
downloaded it from. How you use it is 1. right click on
message in message list, choose properties, details, select
email address in return path, copy. 2. open BSM (bounce
spam mail), paste that email address in Spammer's email, put
your email address in "your email"enter your mailserver, ie.
earthlink.net or whatever your server is. 3. go back to the
properties of the spam, click message source, right click,
select all, right click copy, go back to BSM and paste into
the box provided, 4. click send. Probably due to forged
email addresses a lot of these bounces never reach anyone,
but you don't get a return bounce. I think it has made a
few spammers delete my address.

filters
those emails that come thru the "delete from server" option,
can you read the emails or did it just download the headers?
Regarding the block sender option, what does the sender get?
thanks again
