Yup, that's why I don't understand why they have the other
options. I got on a list that sent about 100 emails a day
and could not get unsubscribed from them. I checked the
option to not download from the server, it seemed to me that
all of them just went into the deleted items folder, then I
had to empty it very frequently. Then they were finally
gone. I still have serveral rules saying "do not download
from the server". I find these emails in my deleted items
folder. So now I think it's just as easy to either block
the sender (these emails also wind up in the deleted items
folder) or just set the rule to delete the message.

So you mean OE puts them into the deleted items, and not
deleting them? The option "delete from server"
doesn't make sense even if it does delete it from server if
the rule has to search the body of an email.
So you say some emails still come thru even when you have
enabled the option "delete from server"?
