While I wholeheartedly agree with Don on most of these points (especially
about the tracking ability of those smileys), I disagree that you should
delete any DBX files that do not correspond to any folders inside OE. Those
files often contain messages that you thought were lost and had no idea
where they went. The simple truth is that OE somehow 'lost sight' of them
and simply stopped showing you the folder(s) that they represent. It is
possible to force OE to re-recognize them and show you the folders inside
OE, along with everything they contain.
