-=PCTechTalk=- Re: Off topic - non hodgkins lymphoma

Hi John! Oh I feel for you and am sorry you also are having to endure these
"treatments". This is Rick's 2nd go round with non-hodgkins
lymphoma..........first diagnosed in "96, then it reoccurred in "06. He had
radiation and surgery the first time, this time major spinal surgery and
chemo and he's on the maintainance that you have to do each 6 months for 2
years. He's only gone thru the 1st of 4 of them. Are you also getting just
rituxan for the maintainance? That stuff just zaps your energy because all
the side effects are as if you have a severe case of the flu.

My best goes out to you as you go thru your treatments. Best I can say is
if you're taking the rituxan route right now is drink tons of water the day
of chemo and for a couple days after.........gets it out of you system
faster. I have a hard time getting Rick to drink all the water he needs to
and he's does much better if he does.

Blessing and prayers,
Sandy in Fla
