Hi Christine,
Here's another way to use the Preview, which I use a lot.
1. With OE open, right click on an empty spot the upper bar that contains
the icons for Reply etc.
And NOT the one with File - Edit - View etc.
2. You'll get a drop down menu with 'Toolbar, Views Bar and Customize'.
Choose Customize.
3. Once you are there, on the left hand side you will see a pane that says:
'Available Toolbar Buttons'.
4. Look for the icon for Preview.
5. Once you find it, highlight it and click on the 'Add-->' button.
6. Now it will be in your 'Current Toolbar Buttons'.
You can find it right where you clicked to get the 'Customize'.
Now you can toggle it Off and On without having to go to View>Layout etc. A
bit more convenient.
I always keep it toggled off so that I don't mistakenly view something I
don't want to. And I make sure that it is toggled to Off before I close OE.
HTH ... Sammi
