My Mom was a English war bride from a family of 10 and learned to cook for
the family.

Her sister my aunt was an army cook and would cook for Winston Churchill
often.
Her younger brother was on a show like
 "Cooking With the stars" ? as a guest chef, in his Santa outfit 
as he was Santa at Harods department store for a number of years

My aunt and uncle both worked in the film industry in the UK as extras.

I like the cooking but not the clean up so crock pot meals are easy to
clean up.
