On most dryers, the top will come off or tilt up (hinged at the back where the control panel wires go down to the rest of the dryer). If you can get the top up, you should be able to see where the lint screen fits close to the back of the drum and get the pen out. It probably won't mess up your clothes but if the ink comes out of the refill, it could make a mess somewhere, and Murphy's Law says it will be in the worst place at the worst time.
