Hi Judith, it sounds like you may have to try to pull the dryer out and remove the back cover. There may be an access panel which is removable to allow you to reach inside to remove the pen. It may bounce around and jam something or melt and cause more problems. What area are you in? Sometimes folks on the list will volunteer to help those with problems.
