The only part of OE that doesn't work is send/receive...that I can remember
at this point anyway.  I can get into my ISP and OE opens but it won't
connect to the mail server.  The minute I remove SP2 things are back to
normal..
Haven't gone the route YET of the 800 number.. after the holiday.

I'm puzzled a bit too.  There is really no reason the the service pack 2
should have shut down OE.  At least you knew how to uninstall SP2 and can
use OE now.  Have you tried the 800 for SP2 help?  Sorry I can't find the
number right now.

I have a firewall..besides Windows one..I don't know a THING about Windows
firewall..where it is or how to get to it?? BUT I didn't tell it to let IE
go to places either but IE worked..puzzled???
