Yes, I also use both, as I still need IE for certain online banking 
sites. 

Hopefully with the passing of time and increased popularity of safer 
browsers like Firefox, web designers will slowly stop creating sites 
with ActiveX controls. (Having said that, as long as there is the 
facility for _any_ kind of programming language in websites and e-
mail clients, there will be malicious programmers looking to exploit 
it.)

You may want to install this handy extension for Firefox. It will 
enable you to right-click any link in Firefox and open that link up 
with IE. Bit of a time-saver.
