-=PCTechTalk=- Re: OE Spell is in Spanish

Well I went to Add Remove Programs, changed (put a tic mark in
not available) the feature for the French Dictionary. Then I
didn't have any spell checking.

So I downloaded Spell.exe Version 2.1 and I'm now back in
business with a English spell checker. Apparently the one from
Office would not click loose until I did the above to let Spell
then be the default spell checker.

I imagine if I used Outlook, this problem wouldn't have been a
problem but I'm partial to OE after 11 years.

I have no idea how to get it to listen to that command.
However, go into
Add/Remove and click on the Remove button for your install of
Office. One
of the choices it'll give you is to Modify the current install.
You'll then
be able to go through the various sections until you can locate
the
languages used for the suite. You'll likely find that Spanish,
French or
whatever you're facing now is listed as installed and
operational.
Uninstall that language and make sure Engrish (or whatever else
you might
want) is selected instead. When you click OK, it'll remove what
you've
deselected and install the ones you want.

Peace,
Gman
