-=PCTechTalk=- Re: OE Spell is in Spanish

Well it's not Spanish but French - hey what do I know. Anyhoo I
googled and MS in all their wisdom did not make an English Spell
check (dictionary). Plus I downloaded SpellOE but Windows
doesn't like that either says it's not a valid Win 32
application.

So I'll try what you said but there are plenty of people ticked
off at Office 2007.

Judith,
This will require a little registry editing.

Backup and then delete the following registry key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Shared
Tools\ProofingTools\1.0\Override\en-US

Reboot the system afterwards. The key will be rebuilt the next
time you
start Word, so fire up Word before checking your email or using
any other
app that relies on the spell checker.

Peace,
Gman
