Right click on your desktop background. From that screen click screen
saver. On the pop up go about 2/3rds to the Power Management box and click
on Change power settings. On the left side of the next pop up about the
6th item down click on Change when the computer sleeps. On the next page
you will see three items and two boxes across from the. the top one is Turn
off display Battery and Plugged in, Second is Put computer to sleep,
Battery and Plugged in. Click on the arrow head and choose the time you
want. Bottom line is to adjust brightness.
Click save changes and back out of everything.
