Bob, what it says there is incorrect. Believe me, download the update, run it 
and then check your AV status and you'll see the virus definitions will be up 
to date. I do it this way for all the computers at work (as opposed to a 
liveupdate on each system), and I'm running 2004 on all the systems. Try it and 
see if it updates.
