Need it?  No.  Everything it does automatically, you can do manually
including fixing errors in the registry and other miscellaneous housekeeping
and preventive maintenance tasks.  But it IS a useful and easy to use tool.

If you cannot move the version from your old computer to the new one watch
for a copy of the 2003 or 2004 version to be on sale at a yardsale or
computer show.
