-=PCTechTalk=- Re: Non installation of Software

Andrew,
    I've been waiting about as patiently as possible for this moment.
;0}

    My first guess would be it's being prevented from installing correctly
because of a common file in the same Temp folder that the install is trying
to use. In other words, the install is trying to unpack a specific file
into the Temp area, but it's finding a file using the same name is in there
already. If the already present file is not the same one used by the
install, the install will fail, but be unable to tell you why. Again, this
is just a guess, but it's based on situations I've encountered before.

    If this is the case, the 'cure' would be to empty out your Temp files
and try it again. If the install went far enough to add itself to your
Add/Remove applet, I would try uninstalling it first (both of them if
they're both in there).

Peace,
G
