E: displays "*" if this is an erased file or directory.  The entire line will 
be displayed in red.

Those are what you want to restore (if they are Deleted items files) one at a 
time and check them in-between. It will give you the option of where to save 
it....I would put it right back in this same file and overwrite the one that's  
in there....then you can go to the deleted folder in OE and look. 

I agree with Pam that it would probably be better if you can get some rest 
first.
