If it is not a big file.. (over 5 mb) send it to me..and I will open it..and 
save it as a word doc.  (Unless of course it it some confidential file)

.doc is the file extension you want..right?

I have the latest version of Word..so I am 'guessing' I can open the 
file......

If not, Word Perfect came installed on this machine and I can always 
reinstall it.

Can someone tell me how to read a "word perfect" file if I do not have the
program word perfect.  Is there a way?.  I did open in notepad but could
only read some of it.  Microsoft word wont read it for me.
