    I'm proud of you, my friend!  You are now officially her teacher/mentor 
and your task is to empower her with whatever she needs to get things 
working.  Don't overburdon her with too much 'tech talk' right now or you 
may scare her away from these types of things (newbies are usually 
tech-delicate).  She has to learn how to download eventually, so be her hero 
and teach the gal to fish.  If she's not too resistant to the idea, also 
teach her how to create folders to keep her downloads organized (no storing 
stuff on the desktop!    lol).  She'll thank you later for teaching her how 
to not make a mess of her hard drive.  By the time you're done with this 
specific problem, she's going to feel a whole lot more "in charge" of her 
system than she ever imagined.  Just try your best to keep it simple at 
first.       :)
