I had some problems with my NAVprobably about 10 months
ago - but then one day it started to work, after an update
they did. Knock on wood, it's worked fine ever since. I had
trouble with McAfee before I went to Norton.(Staples even
traded me software brands because they said there were lots
of problems with McAfee then). Now, I hear that McAfee is
good again - but who knows! I don't remember what happened,
but I put AVG on this computer when my son built it, and it
didn't want to work right, so I uninstalled it and put on
the free year of e-trust on here. My son went to a website
and a virus downloaded, and e-trust got a little bonkers. I
figured I could get it working again, but my son's friend
put a different one on here.
Presently, I have no firewall - technically. My son's friend
took mine off and said the one for the router would work
better. which brings me to a question! LOL

Chris,
Life has intervened, and I haven't gotten to following up.
When I get
to it, I'll post the results. One guru on our local chat
list said NAV
had a change of leadership a few years ago and is no longer
a good
product (his opinion) and suggested using AVG and ZoneAlarm
instead
(freeware). I would like to have my NAV functioning
properly.
