  Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Mozilla 1.5

I downloaded the latest version of Mozilla(1.5) yesterday, and after
doing that, I ran into many problems. My computer did not want to do
much at all, and most shortcuts on my desktop, and the main progs, would
  fail to open.

I may be blaming Mozilla for this, but I suspect that something else was
responsible. Netscape, IE and Mozilla would not open, but I could
access files in MyDocuments. I performed several 'System Restores'
without success. After a lot of trial and error, I re-installed WinMe
and all came right again, although I had to find and manipulate my
addresses, bookmarks and saved email to restore them. My filters had all
  gone.

I would be interested to know if anyone has upgraded to Mozilla 1.5
successfully, without losing all their mail, etc.. I am back to an older
version now and would like to upgrade, especially as there is a spell
checker that can be incorporated in it.

I don't want to go through all that hassle again!!!

  TIA

  Rick H
