magnified area larger if you want to. Hold the button that turns on the
magnifier and move the mouse at the same time. Press down on the scroll
wheel(it is a button also) and see what happens. On most MS mice, every
button can be programmed to do almost anything you want to. Check
Start>Programs and see if any software for the old mouse mouse is installed.
If there is, use Revo Uninstaller to uninstall it. Then run CCleaner to
cleanup any leftovers. Then check the Device Manager to insure the drivers
got uninstalled. Leave the mouse plugged or plug in the new mouse so you can
navigate the install process. Then run the install program for the new
mouse.If you do not need the special features that are available with your
new mouse, you do not need to install anything. The basic driver for it is
already in and will be detected by Windows. In theory you can leave the old
stuff installed. I wouldn't. I just bought a new MS Mouse/Keyboard set. It
would not work until I went through the above steps. Don
