Actually, I have a bunch of programs laying around on various hard
drives and partitions but they are not necessarily the latest versions
and I certainly don't remember where they all came from or if they
really rate being included. I am trying to share the workload a
little bit with others by getting some help finding the actual website
to download the latest version and also getting referrals to include
programs I may not have found or if I did I didn't like them enough to
consider including them.
I do of course, have Firefox, Thunderbird, nLite, and a few others
that are popular and will include them but referrals, comments and
recommendations about those are also welcome. Disastar suggested
including a comments field in my form and I am going to use some or
all comments in the text file as a sort of review of the program. I
don't mind duplicates since it will mean more comments to include and
also give an indication, albeit a weak one, of a programs popularity
or usefulness.
Folks are welcome to comment on programs that others submit but please
be sure you cut and paste the original form (or cleanup a "reply") so
I know what program is being commented on.
Important note: I have a new folder for this thread. PLEASE be sure
to include "Making a list" in the subject line. That allows me me to
easily sort this thread.
