-=PCTechTalk=- Re: Macromedia Flash Player

Hey Faustus,
Long time, no see, my friend. Good to see you're still about, even if
it is less often as you'd like. :O)

On my Win2000 system, the program installs itself into the
C:\WINNT\Downloaded Program Files folder. It should be the same or similar
path under WinXP. This IS a location that's cleaned out by some utilities,
but you should be able to disable the check on this particular folder in it.

Peace,
G Man

Hey, all,

Sorry I don't get to pop in more often, these days. :(

Nevertheless, I've got a question that I'm sure some of you can help me
with. Where on a user's hard drive does the trial version of Macromedia's
Flash Player install itself?

Over the past few weeks I've had to keep re-downloading it, over and over
again.
( From: http://www.macromedia.com/downloads/ )

I'm assuming that some of my system cleanup tools keep deleting the
necessary file(s), and it's never stored somewhere permanent on the HD.
Using WinXP Home Edition/IE6.

Many thanks for any input, muchachos.

Faustus
