free version?? WHERE? Adaware or whatever it is and spybot don't seem to find much of anything except spybot keeps telling me something to with windows security has been turned off and it's probably because I have separate firewall and anitiv.. but it keeps showing up... Had the same thing with Panda.. it finds, supposedly, stuff that none of my other spyware stuff seems to catch..wondering why I even bother with AD and spybot.. heck I might as well have a dzen of these darn prgms installed and spend all my time fishing for junk ware at this riate...since they ALL seem to find different stuff IF they find anything.. pht! ml ----- Original Message ----- From: "Cris" <cris@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, September 12, 2005 4:38 PM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: Low Risk Adware I've been having an ongoing situation with this also. microsoft anti-spyware will find it and delete it - but it comes back. Panda's online scan will give you some file paths so you can try deleting them yourself - it won't do it for you. I've been running the free version of spyware doctor now, and may have done the trick. Neither spybot or adaware find it. I didn't have it in add/remove either. cris ----- Original Message ----- From: Joyce To: pctechtalk Sent: Monday, September 12, 2005 12:58 PM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Low Risk Adware has a low risk Adware by NewDotNet. I printed off four pages concerning this Adware along with instructions for removal. -- <Please delete this line and everything below.> To unsub or change your email settings: //www.freelists.org/webpage/pctechtalk To access our Archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PCTechTalk/messages/ //www.freelists.org/archives/pctechtalk/ -- No virus found in this incoming message.
