To specifically answer your question regarding running a program in the context
of another user...
If you have two user accounts, Windows allows you to run a program as though
you were another user. So... lets say you have USER-1 and USER-2. First you log
in as USER-1. Now, you do a SWITCH USERS and leave USER-1 logged on, but now
you go into the other account, USER-2. While in this account, you decide to run
a program as USER-1 (yes, there is a specific way to do this). So, we'll use an
example. You decide to run DISKEEPER as USER-1 while you are still in the
USER-2 account. Now, you decide to log off USER-2.
This here would be running the program in the context of the other user as
stated in the article.
I don't think, however, that this is your problem.
How old is this specific Windows install? Meaning... when was the last time
your system was reformatted and Windows reinstalled from scratch?
Its very possible you have spyware and adware just infesting your system. Virus
is possible as well, though you can easily check that with an antivirus app.
Though, to be honest with you, I rarely trust antivirus apps neither anymore.
Does this happen all the time? Or just sometime? Does it happen only when you
do SWITCH USERS, or does it also happen when you LOG OFF user?
