-=PCTechTalk=- Re: Learning to do web pages need source codes

HI,

I am very much a newbie at doing a web page and a friend is teaching me a
little bit. I use winxp home version. I assume front page is on that
system? An editor for creating a web page? He showed me how to type in some
basic source codes to use and about opening and closing them. Is there a
place on the web to go look for other source codes I may want to use. I am
interested in putting my family tree on the web for others to search out. I
also use Family Tree Maker program and can create GEDcom files which I
understand is easier for others to read. Would I have to import my GED com
file to my web page and if so how do you do that? Is it the same as
uploading a picture or must I reference it with a link to another HTML page/

help...a webpage newbie,

cristy
