Harold did I miss something here? Did you say that you had a shortcut on the 
desktop that opens the way you want and one in the quick launch bar that don't 
open like you want? If that is the case then delete the one in the GLB and copy 
the desktop one to there. I don't know why you don't have a Run line in the 
Properties.

  Windows 98 ... That I can do. But remember, it opens close to maximized but
  not really maximized. Is there a way to get  it fully maximized from the
  quick launch bar?
